Order Handling Capacity now available

by News_Amazon

We launched 1-Day Default Handling Time in April 2021. We are now announcing another feature to help you manage shorter handling times.

Order Handling Capacity helps sellers with Professional selling plan set a limit for how many orders they can handle in a day. As soon as you get one order in excess of your limit, the tool automatically adds one business day to your handling time for all additional orders in that day to make sure your business is not overwhelmed.

To switch to 1-day handling time and set order handling capacity, go to Shipping Settings and select General Shipping Settings. Scroll down to Handling Time and click Edit. We recommend that you set your Default Handling Time to one business day.

To set your Order Handling Capacity, enter the maximum number of orders you want to accept per day with your Default Handling Time. For every order in excess of this limit, you will have one additional business day of handling time. For example, if your Default Handling Time is one business day, and your Order Handling Capacity is 100, when you receive the 101st order, you will have two business days of handling time for every order after the 100th order in that day.
