USPS Ground Advantage is coming soon to Amazon Buy Shipping
This month, the United States Postal Service (USPS) launched a new domestic shipping service called USPS Ground Advantage, and we’re working to bring this service to you with Amazon Buy Shipping.
This service consolidates the current First-Class package service, Parcel Select ground, and Parcel Select Cubic shipping methods.
Once enabled, USPS Ground Advantage will offer the following shipping methods:
- USPS Ground Advantage Light: For packages that weigh less than 1 lb
- USPS Ground Advantage Heavy: For packages that weigh 1 lb to 70 lb
- USPS Ground Advantage Cubic: Cubic prices based on package size and distance rather than weight
USPS has updated its shipping service prices with the USPS Ground Advantage launch. These new prices have been replicated in Buy Shipping and will remain in place.
When the new shipping methods are launched, you can buy labels through Amazon Buy Shipping and your existing shipping methods will update automatically to the equivalent USPS Ground Advantage shipping method.
In the meantime, you can continue to use the existing USPS shipping services for your orders. We’ll share more information on the launch date and any actions to take when we enable the new shipping methods.
To learn more, go to USPS Ground Advantage.

Every other platform I sell on made the change on the day GA started. Why is Amazon so slow? I had to refund a customer today on a lost mail item that should have been covered by GA included insurance because Amazon is still making first class labels.
Seriously, ebay, etsy, paypal, pirate ship..... they all had this up and running on time. What's up Amazon?
(My gut tells me it has something to do with them trying to make $ off each label purchase on their site and they're trying to negotiate pricing in the new system so they pay less than we pay them for the labels?)

This is getting ridiculous Amazon. We can not use "Buy Shipping" so we have no protection from INR scammers. My local USPS will not accept my "First Class" packages. I sell HazMat so it must go by ground.
You NEED to get this fixed.

Well it's finally here the Ground Advantage option after 45 days.

Yay, it's finally here. I'm happy to see that Amazon also has USPS Ground Advantage Cubic. Now I can start purchasing the labels thru Amazon instead of Shippo and retain the Amazon Buy Shipping protection.

so they FINALLY supposedly have this ground advantage shipping available but you can't print the labels on any standard label, it prints up in the small corner of the page no matter what label format you choose...could it be that Amazon is making more money on first class overages (since when they make up these fake weights showing it over a pound it automatically charges us priority mail rates), I think they're going to lose money by not being able to rip off sellers on postage overages...also, with first class and parcel post we don't have to pay to have a package returned for bad addresses (they've been trying to charge us over $50 on some packages to return it to us), with ground advantage that's not going to be a charge. I find it hard to believe that Amazon 'accidentally' made these labels unprintable after dragging their feet for a month or so already. If anyone can print these labels correctly PLEASE let me know how you did it, I"m trying PDF left, PDF right, it always prints up in the far left corner (first class, parcel post print fine)

Hello @Seller_YkfCsYE5oSQgF and other sellers using USPS Ground Advantage.
I have been sharing updates with our partner teams about issues you are reporting with USPS Ground Advantage implementation. These issues include label orientation, problems purchasing signature confirmation, and declaring additional value beyond the $100 of included insurance.
USPS First Class and Parcel Select have not yet been deprecated in Buy Shipping. If you require Signature Confirmation, Insurance, or have issues with Declared Value, please revert back to using First Class and Parcel Select while we resolve the issues with Ground Advantage.
I will continue to post updates on this and all other Ground Advantage issues in this and other threads.

Also, I am trying to ship something zone 8 today that came yesterday and it won't give the Ground Advantage option saying not available (For time reasons), but gives First Class. Why is Ground Advantage longer for Zone 8 when it's the same timing as First Class.
Also, I agree, the formatting and font is terrible and for some random reason the tracking sequence is at a different starting point versus First Class or Priority.
Get your act together Amazon. This is beyond embarrassing for you all there at this point.

So some issues with USPS Ground Advantage service through Amazon:
1. I noticed also I to add extra insurance on top and it will not add the additional insurance charge for both Ground Advantage and the Cubic option as well. Did not try for signature but I'm sure the same issue. Please fix these as the formatting of these new labels is already annoying enough as it is.
2. Whenever I try to process an order that came on a Sunday to Zone 8 even on the same day, it won't let me ship Ground Advantage saying it's not eligible (Time reason), but it does allow me First Class which is the same time-frame according to USPS. Why this issue? Amazon should fix this to reflect with same time-frame as First Class. Now I have to ship packages with First Class and lose the included insurance coverage. eBay and others don't have this issue.
3. Many times when it's an ASIN(s) I have not shipped before or combination of them, once I put the weight it defaults to First Class the selection on the shipping options. Why is it even there first of all? This is so confusing.

You delayed my shipment by three days and the customer requested a refund but did not pick up the shipment. How can I get my goods back?
