Multiple automated purchases and unnoun promotion

by Seller_39DJiVnZQakwB

We are a foreign company trading on Amazon via FBA. Recently, we encountered multiple purchases of certain ASINs, leading to these products going out of stock. Moreover, a mysterious promotion was applied, resulting in the products being sold for $0 with free shipping from the FBA warehouse. We did not set or authorize this promotion.

Amazon claims this was some kind of rebate promotion, but this is the first time our company has heard of such a thing, and we certainly did not set it up. All 36 purchases occurred on the same day, at the same minute, using a coupon in conjunction with this mysterious promotion to reduce the price to $0. This is highly suspicious and unlikely to be the result of genuine customer activity.

We contacted support but, as usual, received no helpful response. We tried to file an appeal for a violation of terms, but the response indicated there was insufficient information to process our case. No specific request for additional information was made, and the appeal text window has a limited character count and does not allow attachments.

Now, we are facing substantial fees due to this unknown promotion that we did not set up, and Amazon has been of absolutely no help. If anyone has encountered a similar situation, we would be grateful for any advice on how to handle this.
