Malicious Change of Brand Name

We have been selling a product ASIN in markets outside of Amazon Japan, and we are brand owners who have completed brand registration.

Recently, we attempted to enter the Japanese website to release this product ASIN, but were informed that the brand name of ASIN had been maliciously modified in Japan. We are unable to release this ASIN in Japan, so we request the seller's support to modify the brand name and create a good shopping experience. The product page of this ASIN clearly displays its brand name, and its correct brand name is also displayed on other Amazon marketplace websites. However, it is disappointing that the seller support personnel in Japan refuse to make any modifications, claiming that the product is held by sellers who maliciously modify the brand, and any modifications must be approved by them. This is disappointing.

I hope to receive assistance here, hoping that the community manager can help us restore the brand name, create a good shopping experience, and encourage customers to purchase products that match the description and actual product.

Thank you for your post.

My understanding is that although you are saying that you have control of your brand in other marketplaces but not in the JP marketplace.

If my understanding is correct, may I ask you if you tried reporting via the Amazon's Report Infringement Form?
